Wouldn't make much difference.
What are you talking about? We would be safely behind Dallas to increase our draft odds 0.9%!

Re: Canucks Young Guns

I also bought the whole season of center ice. Yay. Usually i flip it over to another team and it distracts me enough to Forget. When you see teams finishing checks regularly, cleaning house in their slots, standing up for each other then flash back to snet pacific to see Eriksson and the smurfs ...

Those of us who don't have access to local TV anymore ;)

I get your point about Radio but they are useful in podcast forms. The guests are usually the only part worth listening to.

Re: Vancouver's Hockey "Media"

Pattersons voice is horrible . Like it sounds made up for fuck sakes . The high to low pitch and not drawing breath for a 55 second diatribe about nothing . Pattersons voice makes me want to shove ice picks in my ears . This. Honestly it's difficult to evaluate what he says because his voice is so ...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Very ugly set of incidents there in Boston. As much as I loathe Marchand, that Neal knee to the head was absurd. Deserves a major suspension. Regardless, Thornton's attack on Orpik will make all the headlines. Absolutely hate to see a player seriously hurt on a cheap shot like that. Here's hoping ...

Wow. Much earlier than I expected. I honestly didn't think he'd find a suitor in the NHL. Best of luck to Manny.

Re: TV Shows: What are you watching?

I'm going to have to agree as well. I was pretty disappointed with the direction of the show as a whole but the last few episodes have been pretty good. Nice to see E grow a pair and stick up for himself again. I like that they've finally given "the star" of the show a decent storyline too. Drama ...

Re: TV Shows: What are you watching?

Not an actual series but has anyone heard of Children's Hospital? Little slow, I know, but I just heard of it by accident. Check out "Episode 1." DISCLAIMER: Horribly offensive and juvenile.

Re: TV Shows: What are you watching?

Totally out of the TV loop here in Europe. Heard through the grape vine that "Modern Family" is a good show. Have my reservations though for whatever reason. Mostly stick to the shows I watched before leaving Canada, though their entertainment value inevitably begins to wane as the years pass ...

Re: TV Shows: What are you watching?

My favourite show, bar none, is "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia." I highly recommend this show to anyone who is not easily offended! I have no idea if it even airs in Canada and don't think it's a particularly well known show but I assure you, if you enjoy television that pushes the limits, the ...

Re: Gillis teaches a lesson. G.M 101.

I've heard conflicting reports on this Grizz. One (1040) mentioned 6mill, another (tsn) said 2.5. Most likley somwhere in the middle. Still enough to go for a top sixer at the deadline. So lets start looking at teams that ain't goin' to the show and see who we can take and for what! Being a hockey ...
