Oh man, where did you hear this rumour?

C'mon Tunes, show your face and confirm or deny it.

Re: Canucks News n Notes 2019-2020

Nah, Stecher and the entire D core has not been great in these situations, but Trojan does "stand out" more than the other Dmen. The 4th line hasn't been good, but it looks more like system play than individual units. Every line has been Sedin-cycled this season. You know who's been worse? The top l...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

He’s 6 feet and change.....when did that become midget? Marty Brodeur was 6’1” and change.....wasn’t he pretty good? Relax, big guy. That was hyperbole. But honestly, I always take listings with a grain of salt. Marty is the GOAT, but that was a different era. He started when goalies still played s...

Re: OOTS; 2019-2020

Yup, that was it. Kesler still had his rookie #20. Actually, he held his own in that fight. Got some good licks in too against a very tough hombre. I was quite impressed by his brass balls at the time. But I recently heard in his podcast with Bieksa that Iggy just missed a couple of times with big r...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

I must be the only one here who thinks it's better to keep the younger goalie. I like Marky but he will start to trend down pretty soon. He's had less than 2 years as an above average NHL goalie. Can't overrate him. Sign him to a friendly contract, see what happens... then sell high. I really have n...

Re: OOTS; 2019-2020

Turtle is soiling the family name. I remember the old man was quite the tough customer. Don't think I ever saw him turtle. Hell, his little bro is willing to drop 'em. He had to get something. He plugged him 8 or 10 times. Pretty funny the officials were in no hurry to get in there to break it up. N...

Zack gets 2 games for whaling a turtle.

Next game... against the Flames.

The kind of hits Tkachuk laid out on Kassian are the same kind of hits Tom Wilson does but at least Wilson backs it up
Wilson has had many dirtier hits than any Tkachuk delivered on Saturday.
^This.

Raffi Torres has his career end, but Tom Wilson gets a raise.

Re: OOTS; 2019-2020

Here's what ex-NHLers and hockey insiders think

Ex-referee Paul Stewart: Provocateur who turtles

From Mark Spector, Oilers homer

It's pretty unanimous that, unless you're a Flames homer, that most people in hockey don't respect what Tkachuk did during the game and his excuses afterward.

This has been going on for more than a few games now. Passing around on the outside trying to set up the perfect one-timer.

Mix up the groups because the 1st unit clearly isn't working well together.

Of course the refs now have to even things up. Nice embellishment by Suter.

If you got curly hair like Tom Hanks, combovers are not an option
They've been able to transplant hairs from other parts of the body onto the head for years now. Just sayin'...

Dime-sized bald spots should not deter guys from going out in pubic anymore.

I really don't like this Harry Potter defensive system where guys just stand around waiving their wands hoping the other team will tire themselves out.

Re: Canucks News n Notes 2019-2020

Yeah, ok. Imagining a pairing of the two is making shit up.

They only had one D selected. So it would be pretty easy to imagine having 3 forwards out there with no D.

Maybe they'll imagine having the women out there with the men too.
