Re: Enemy Territory...

I'm just gonna go ahead and assume that "sandwich" and coffee" are just metaphors. I told my daughter who is learning how to drive that we need to hit a parking lot when the snow comes so she can really learn some winter driving. sliding into oncoming traffic is not the time to get the feel of thin...

Re: World Juniors 2012

Canada's first opponent will be Finland. Make sure to look out for Mikael Granlund, who's a spectacular player. Get a load of this goal that he scored at the 2011 world championship against Russia. And that's Kulikov that he gets by so easily behind the goal cage... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OS...

Re: Who's going to win the Gold?

that's an issue that's sort of slipped quietly behind the scenes, will the NHL allow their players to participate in 2014? the last I heard was that the owners had not given their blessing automatically, they had to convene a special board to make that decision. I think they were attaching that iss...

Re: Who's going to win the Gold?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDEszBExe7k Gotta love that GWG! 8-) Forsberg to Sundin to Lidström... SCORE! The crowning achievement of the three stand out players of Sweden's so called golden generation. Gives me goose bumps every time. Can't wait till 2014 when we get another shot at it!

Re: GDT: Canucks host Minny - 7pm - Snet-P

Lu was good. Take that, haters. Seriously? He's playing a lot better. But there is no excuse for how the player started the season. None. Seriously? :? So you think you have all information necessary to make judgement? From Yahoo: After a subpar start to the season in which he was struggled and had...

Re: A day that will live in infamy

Less snowpack in the Rockies and earlier spring will lead to reduced water flow in the Platte River during the agricultural season. I'll have to explain the 'less snowpack' theory to all of the farmers that lost their farms this year due to flooding (from the large snowpacks). http://bloximages.chi...

Re: A day that will live in infamy

I like global warming! I live in Nebraska and agree. Global warming can only help me. :D Seriously, global warming does not concern me. At all. I am more worried about the chemicals they put in my food and other government involvement in my life. Is global warming caused by me driving to t...

Re: Bolland takes shot at Sedin

So I guess someone from the Blackhawks PR department tracked Bolland down: “I’ve got the utmost respect for the Sedin twins and for Alain Vigneault and all the Vancouver Canucks,” Bolland said. “It was just a little bit of tongue-in-cheek that we had at the little radio show with some of the fans. ...

Player GP G A Pts PIM ... Anton Rodin 2 4 6 10 8 ... I assume this is a mi...

Re: Bolland takes shot at Sedin

(of a sound) high, thin, and metallic 4. (Cookery) (of food or drink) flavoured with metal, as from a container 5. Austral informal ...

Re: A day that will live in infamy

It's not just cap and trade, it's also switching to smarter energy solutions. Sweden's emissions were so low in 1990 that the Kyoto protocol would actually allow a slight increase, but instead we have reduced another 20% while enjoying Europe's highest GDP growth over the past few years. District he...
