Here's a photo of the top prospects together.
Hmmm... Hughes looks only 2 inches shorter than Tkachuk in that pick.

Must be wearing my old tractor-tread Daytons.
Or Dudes KISS boots that make him 5 ft 9

Re: The 2018 NHL Entry Draft

I’m honestly wondering which team in the Pacific that Vancouver can finish ahead of. Maybe the Coilers?

Re: The 2018 NHL Entry Draft

Botchford is about the same height as the Dude. 5ft 7 at best. Hughes probably looks like an ape compared to him.

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

When did I mention having enforcers in the pipeline? Please point it our for me. Players are allowed to have skill and toughness as a combination. That too hard for you to comprehend? And when did Norris Trophy winners have anything to do with what UDL and I were talking about? The system is devoid ...

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

Totally wouldn't be surprised if Tavares meets with the canucks, as we're the perfect foil to drive up his market value. And what a relief that we don't have "grit" in the pipeline, that would be a total waste of draft picks and development time. Yes because players who have toughness and skill are...

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

The foil for all this skill and speed will obviously be grit and push back. Its always a hell of a lot easier to acquire that on july 1st than the speed and skill angle. What do we have coming down the pipe for grit though? Gadjoyovic? Is Lockwood gritty? Gaudette? Gadjovich is about it. Maybe MacE...

Absolutely critical that this team made a major push for the playoffs, this year.
Lol they are nowhere near making playoffs with this scabby roster. You could add both Hanifin and Bouchard and they still aren’t within a dozen points of a wildcard.

Re: The 2018 NHL Entry Draft

Hughes is not 5'-10" SKYO. After seeing him at the WJC I now question his listed height of 5-9". He looked a lot smaller than 5'-9" - 175 lbs. I simply have a hard time using a top 10 pick on a "defencemen" that tiny. I don't care how skilled he is, he can't just be a PP guy or an overtime guy, you...

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

He’s not signing for less than 11. So you have 40 million or more ties up in four forwards. Can’t see it happening unless they trade Willy Nylander.
