Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

The reason we change jerseys is to make money. But the water boy has always had a dislike for the whale. I think we should go to the marijuana leaf as our logo. That'd be awesome! Also change our name to the Vancouver Buddheads or the Weed. *hehe* The Aquas should sell cannabis @ home games. Open u...

Re: Canucks Contracts

https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/canucks-fans-obsessed-nikita-tryamkin-2019 The daily hive brings up a good point about Tryamkin, with just 1 year left on his contract, there's a chance he may join the Canucks late into next season. Kind of like the first time around when he came over as the KHL seas...

Re: Canucks Contracts

Leivo: GP -- 133, G -- 24, A -- 22 Boucher: GP -- 133, G -- 20, A -- 22 And Boucher rode shotgun with a Pettersson or a Horvat how much? These guys are the same age, by the way. I liked Boucher, but I'd take Leivo over him any day. Boucher is slow, small and can be a liability defensively. Leivo ha...

Re: How to fix the Canucks defense?

Be funny if the Canucks signed EK, like a gift from the gods after RIP Bourdon passed years ago. But also Canucks would have had 4 dmen in that 1st round. Schenn, EK, Sbisa, MDZ. & 149th oa P. Larsen, 190th oa Bartkowski Also 31st overall Markstrom, 111th Weise. lol 8 Boedker 9 Bailey 10 Hodgson 11...

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

With Gaunce, you knew exactly what he was. A decent defence forward who had a ton of 'hits' that nobody saw or felt, and his stick was where offence went to die. We had seen it for years with him. Excellent at the AHL level, but couldn't make it work in the bigs. Yet some loved him instead of seein...

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

I wouldn't mind Gauncer back as a depth guy. I think he can give us the same things as what Schaller does, but play @ league minimum and maybe has a bit more upside. If we get rid of Schaller, Gauncer can easily fill in as a 4th liner or 13th forward. Omg.. I hope your trolling or smoking serious q...

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

Some are speculating the Canucks might still offer Gaunce a contract, but didn't want to have to qualify him at 110% ($880,000). I wouldn't mind Gauncer back as a depth guy. I think he can give us the same things as what Schaller does, but play @ league minimum and maybe has a bit more upside. If w...

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

Quote Eriksson: 'The coach and I don’t really get on 100 per cent' Vancouver Canucks forward Loui Eriksson admitted to Sweden's HockeySverigethat there is friction in his relationship with head coach Travis Green, and cited that as a reason for his diminished offensive output with the team. Jamie M...

Maybe Edmonton will buyout Looch and then we can sign him for like league minimum, kind of like what Florida did with Troy Brouwer. :P

Re: Vancouver's Hockey "Media"

I was a bit shocked to hear about Botchford's passing today. I liked him and his work, as I posted some of his scoops here on occasion (ie: Ian Clark's work with the goalies). He's definitely way too young. RIP Botch.

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

I'm not that big on Willy Nylander as well. His performance this past season after getting his big ticket contract does concern me a bit. I wouldn't want to give up a 2nd + MacEwen for him. Maybe a mix on the 2 ideas: Tanev + Sutter for Willy Nylander We'll have a new Willy in town to slam and talk ...
