Lol, we used to do that to, turn the set down and dial up Jim and Tom. The politically incorrect days of old, Tommy didn’t mince words

Re: 2018-2019 Stanley Cup Finals

Even though I’m no fan of the Blues and Bruins I think it’s going to be a war if those two meet in the finals The Sharks are done, stick a fork You were right about the blues wearing them down. Whats the deal with eastvander? He looks like a scrub in the playoffs...glad he didnt sign on in van afte...

[ Remember Donald Brashears end to end rushes? Once he got going there was no stopping the Donald. Here's one for the CC vault - who was the poster that has that classic Larscheid quote in his signature line - "he went coast to coast like buttered toast!"? “Pavel Bure walked around Numinnen like he...

Re: 2018-2019 Stanley Cup Finals

The Blues and Bruins deserve it. They have great balance throughout the line-up, goaltending, drffnce, centres, wingers, size, speed (although these two teams are not what I call fastest teams around) and the right sprinkle of small skilled guys. I give the Blues the slight edge. They both play a si...

Strange enough I’ve read comparisons of Zegras game to Elias Pettersson’s game. He played wing man to Jack Hughes all season even though he is listed as a centre. He may be the playmaking winger Bo needs since Baertschi has become very unreliable

Zegras has the speed to burn

Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

Drafting RHD Soderstrom sets up the eventual trade of RHD Tanev? Maybe not right away but something tells me Soderstrom is more ready for prime time than not with playing a season in the SEL as a 17 year old. Ya got RHD Woo coming and Stecher is a RHD man. If Edler is signed the left sides will be a...

Re: LOL

A plague is running through the Canucks HF unbeknownst to the inflicted. It’s a sickness and they are all down with it. Mind you, most of them were sickened prior to entering the frey. They (the sick) found each other in a cosmic sort of happening

MS? Your thoughts?

Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

I've been watching a lot of the highlights between Broberg and Soderstrom and I have to say, I like Soderstrom's overall game better. I think it's way ahead and more complete than Broberg's at this point. While Broberg looks more dynamic, carrying the puck on the rush, his skating looks awkward lik...

Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

I know, right? Page 100 of this thread is an example of good hockey discussion. It makes you excited for the upcoming draft. There's just been way too much nonsense around here for the last oh, say... 4 years? Ya but gillis saw the dudes tiny pecker in the change room down at britannia in 1981. I h...

Broberg is an excellent skater and a big kid. Could be another Edler or Ohlund. If they are bound and determined to pick a D man maybe roll the dice with him as opposed to Soderstrom
Broberg is inticing

Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

Are Blob and dude getting along here? What the hell has happened? As for drafting, BPA. As for trading up to 4, or 3? Depending on price, I would do it. 10th and Hutton for #3? I really don’t think Hutton and the 10th gets us anywhere near the 3rd or 4th overall. Swap out Hutton for Demko and maybe
