Re: CC Random thread
Thanks Puck Same is true of all fan pages it seems, but I always enjoyed the personalities here, and the tone was never quit as teenager-ish as most other sites. Glad to be back!

Re: CC Random thread
I have no idea why I left. I think... Wasn't there some sorta site slow-down? Brian walked away for a bit? Maybe I'm misremembering and I just got busy with other things and paid less attention. I honestly don't remember but it was obviously a mistake.

Re: CC Random thread
Holy shit boys, just found that CC is still up and running after all these years. Think I may have to make a return, been hiding on Reddit for years now. Glad to see you're all still here!

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
So which, if any, waiver wire pickups do we go after? A few decent players out there. Thoughts?

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
say waa? Colborne to Flames for a 4th round pick. The Toronto Maple leaves have traded centreman Joe Colborne tonight to the Flames in exchange for Calgary’s own fourth-round pick in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. The pick can be upgraded to a third-round pick in 2014 if certain conditions are met in th...

Re: Jensen heading to SEL ??
Just throwing this out there, but might this allow him to take a larger role on a mediocre team? Maybe give him some added responsibility and increased minuets playing against full grown men instead of teenagers back in the OHL? Even playing on a shitty mens team has to be better than on a good teen...

Emphasis is needed on this point.Lancer wrote: BIG difference: Kesler can skate. Every article I've seen on Gaunce says skating is an issue. This is 2012, not 2002, so if he can't skate what use is he?

Re: it's the Mëds???or just me?? fave bassists
Puck - Love Chancellor, was definitely one of the ones escaping me at the time. Victor Wooten is one of the obvious ones on my list too, as is Lemmy, and Bootsy Collins. Jaco shouldn't even have to be mentioned (!) and JPJ I love as just an all around awesome musician. Throw in Aston Barrett for goo...

A whole page and there's no mention of James Jamerson? My personal fav is Juan Alderete, who currently plays for The Mars Volta, Big Sir and a handful of other projects. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmp_284_gus same song album version, if you can't hear the bass in the first: http://www.youtube.co...

Gotta say, not a fan. Harsh as it may sound, it's the truth that I lost a bit of respect for the guy. He's free to do what he wants, and I'm free to wish he hadn't, but oh well. Hunting is the only "sport" in which only one side knows they're playing. You want to impress me take on that fucker with ...

Re: GDT - Canucks vs Ducks 7PM PST TSN
...but my point is it's the Finals we're talking about..it's a championship..to be champions you cannot be satisfied with a few good spurts...you have to bring it each and every second. That is what separates a champ from a chump...you have to embrace the moment and never let go. Exactly my thought...

Re: GDT - Canucks vs Ducks 7PM PST TSN
Again, when we get on the board, then we can complain about "should have wion if not for those soft goals". But we didn't. If that were the case and we lost 3-1 or 3-2, I would probably be singing a different tune. But we didn't. We got nothing through 60 min, therefore the actions of our goalie can...

Re: GDT - Canucks vs Ducks 7PM PST TSN
My only point is this: When it comes to Game 7 specifically, a game we played on home ice for all the marbles, Lou just can not be blamed for the loss. It's mathematically impossible. If he had stood on his head and made 50 saves, with zero goals scored by his teammates he does not get the win. It's...
