Sure didn't expect that result from a Best vs Worst matchup.

Great game from Brock.

Surprising game from the Meat Petty... 1g 2a 3pt, +4, 25+ minutes played. No chin strap.

Brock has been playing very well with Rossi coming back. DOC is just a very good bottom 6 player.

It's like watching rookie and sophomore Flow again.

It's just very clear that during even-strength play, where the majority of the game is played, our less expensive centers are much better at generating chances and finishing them off. Even the 4C Kampf was better at this while he was here.

Re: GDT: Canucks @ Avs Apr 1/2026 @ 5:30 PM PST SN

What value does Scooter offer with that contract? I really hope I'm wrong, but I just can't imagine a team taking that on. I think to get to the point where another team will take him on, we would have to re-evaluate whether or not to keep him - but if and when that time comes, he may be worth more ...

I suppose I would put the powerplay on the positive shit list... very short list.

Debrusk 14 out of 16 goals scored with the man-advantage.

Re: GDT: Canucks @ Avs Apr 1/2026 @ 5:30 PM PST SN

That's not my point Mëds. ALL top line players get their PP time and that's where they make a lot of their hay, so to speak. My point is that he's getting results with the man-advantage only. For the "best" player on the team, much more is expected. McDavid and Mackinnon are just two examples... and ...

Re: GDT: Canucks @ Avs Apr 1/2026 @ 5:30 PM PST SN

But you know who has the better power play? Yeah, that's rights - the Canucks! 19.7% vs the Avs lowly 18.1% A loss tonight should cement our last-overall-best-lottery-odds spot. Go Team. Imagine how disappointing the season would be for our "1C" if it weren't for his guaranteed spot on the ...

I'm not fond of the this sensible, sober-posting Yoodles...

You know even if Raisin got them 1st rounders, he'd immediately call Dubas in Pittsburgh and offer them up for a couple more meat patties like MPetey and PO Joe.

Re: Not so deep thoughts by donlever

Sad thing is I think consensus is Trev was right. TWR. Always was. Even if they toss Allvin overboard, I don't see the two clowns being able to handle the necessary, full rebuild. They'll declare the rebuild complete by trading most of the assets accumulated in this and next year for vets in 2028 ...
