Re: Offseason grades so far

Seriously - what the actual fuck. How can we talk about indentation when we haven't even agreed on a writing style for this damn hockey board? Should I start a poll for Harvard / APA / Chicago? This board really needs to get its shit together. But for anyone wanting to indent, just press tab once yo...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._T._Miller Jimothy Timothy? :wow: Ha - no wonder he goes by JT ! :D I seriously Lol'ed, however I take Elite Prospect's version as the more accurate - Jonathan Tanner. I'd submit an edit on Wikipedia, but I don't know if I have a proper source on that! I should have ...

Still missing some pieces Boss. Need long term continuity
Yep - gotta agree with Blobby here - we're moving forward, but this isn't likely the lineup that will be hoisting the Cup.

Paying less in real dollar for a higher cap hit. It's like a 50% sale on cap hit. They still get a serviceable asset, who could turn his game around (in theory).

Re: Canucks News n Notes 2019-2020

Might have to use goldy as a sweetener to move Loui. Ideally we move LE without giving up any real assets. If it's Loui to OTT for a 7th, then fine. We both win. If we have to add a Goldy or some other project, I'd expect a pick to come back our way. Loui has value to cap floor team (as Doc as poin...

Re: Offseason grades so far

Still a couple pieces short of being a contender. They look improved, how much is to be determined yet. Or maybe you referring to them being a contender for a playoff spot which I agree with. I don't think anyone around here is fooling themselves and considering the team a "Cup Contender" at this p...

They cant get us all (without an automated sentry chain gun)
(which they'll have.... plus alien high tech evaporation ray guns).

We went out there a few years back. Lots of sensors around, and you don't see anyone until you get up to the fence, then the black trucks arrive.

Re: 2019 offseason

Benning said he’d like to move one or two players this summer. I bet one is Eriksson and two is Schaller. I doubt Sutter moves as they’ll want centre depth. If Goldobin signs he’ll be in Utica as injury call-up depth, which is fine. I kind of think he will head overseas. I would if I were him. Yeah...

Re: Offseason grades so far

How many core players can a team afford to keep? If JB believes that Bo, Pete, Brock and Quinn are the core, he will need to surround them with some solid pieces to push for a playoffs spot. This is exactly it. At some point, you have to start moving forward. So we draft another 1-2 players who are...
