Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread

Been away for a few days and was just checking in to see if a certain maple leaf loving turd was crowing about another "major" championship being won in Toronto as Seth Rollins defeated Brock Lesnar at wwe summerslam on Sunday. Truly the city of champions. #nobodycares

Re: 2019 offseason

Nah, no room for Goldie and personally his value is as good now as it'll ever be. I concur. He's tradeable now in my opinion, but if we play him and he fails he may become untradeable. Although I agree his value has peaked, I think he is already at this point. I'll be surprised if Jim can get anyth...

Re: 2019 offseason

IMHO the worst thing going for the Canucks right now is their premenstrual fans. 2011 turned Canuckdom into Canuckdumb IMO . I contend that this happened well before 2011. While one may be able to argue that the fan base is passionate, Canuck-dom has been rife with bad take-itis, flip flop-arrhea, ...

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread

But lets leave out the part where it cost the leaves a 1st rounder to dump Marleau and they still have cap concerns. And they still have to ice a defence. You’re right Tuna, it’s hilarious. Too bad for Tuna that Brisebois isn't in control of the Leaves. They might have received a 1st rounder instea...

Re: Canucks Contracts

Based on Kevin Hayes' contract, a player of JT Miller's caliber would have fetched 7.14 x 7 in today's free agency. Instead, the Canucks now have him for 5.25 x 4. The deal takes him to age 30, which is when most forwards end their primes. Hayes; http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=...

Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

He's biggest assets are his work ethic and hockey sense. He's not afraid to take the puck to the net and hates to lose. He's been a captain on the international stage twice already. Good offensive ability, his skating is the only thing that held him back from a top 4 pick, as its only average. Comp...

Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

Don't mind taking the risk. He likely woudln't crack the team next year, so it's essentially an extra year wait. And with the way ELC's are going these days, might be wise to let this one slide a year or two. Could be a fantastic (cheap) addition in 2021-22. Exactly what I was going to say. If he, ...

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

It's the classic Canuck fake out. Sakic is trading Barrie to the Canucks for maybe Horvat, so you better up your offer to get him. So soon Barrie will be traded, but it won't be to the Canucks. Sakic is using them and tossing them out like a bloody Tampon, and he's from BC, shameful really. As far ...
