Re: Next seasons roster - Part 1

Was just watching a video where they were discussing what a huge loss it would be for the Coilers to not sign Larrson. Sucks to be them. A little serving of Schadenfreude for breakfast is always a nice way to start the day. From everything I’ve read he was offered more to stay. He just wanted to le...

Re: Next seasons roster - Part 1

My predictions: Expansion draft: Kole Lind. (Just don’t see the Kraken doing us a favour by taking Holtby) Draft: really don’t know, I think this will be a very unpredictable draft, but I will go with either Johnson or Hughes jr. Free Agency: Larrson (I hope as I think he will be a good partner for...

Re: Canucks News n Notes 21-22

Not sure if he was 3 or 4. But a quick look at his salary history suggests he’ll likely sign for between 1.75-2.5 If Jim can shed Beagle or Rouss, it would open up space for another centre. Has anyone heard anything about Beagle? I read that Rooster was back working out, but there was speculation t...

Re: Trade Rumours & Armchair Pipe Dreams 20-21 Sponsored by SKYO

Teams are calling about Holtby, at least according to Rick Dhaliwal today. I still think he's the most likely candidate to be selected by Seattle in the expansion draft, there's really nothing else of any quality there. Holtby is clearly M. Llamas (is that Egyptian?) main guy to move out. It's Sout...

Re: Next seasons roster - Part 1

Given what's on the farm and where the holes are, I'd rather no more bottom-6 forwards, unless they can get a Vanek-type of deal on someone dirt cheap for one year. Would Getzlaf do a Marleau/Thorton and help on the 3rd line? Then we don’t need to have the Miller @3C debate and actually have some o...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

I’d say they both sign Sedin - esque deals. Your paying for potential in Hughes. You know EP is going to be a 70 pony player. And by sedin I mean similar. Not identical like twins. 😉

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

I can see a 7X3. For both EP 40 and Hughes. They both had down yrs but if we go over five yrs on both we won’t be able to keep Horvat and/or Boeser. Plus Guenther will be up too. 🤪

Re: TV Shows: What are you watching?

So I went down a rabbit hole watching docs on my former hero’s.(maybe not hero’s but prominent figures in mid 80s) Probert, the Sheik/Hogan and even the whole Fluery stuff.

Maybe I need that Disney porn channel. #prime

The Probert book was better. FYI.

Making CoCo was good too.

Re: Seattle Expansion/Canucks players

Was just thinking, and laughing to myself.....it will be a bit of a slap in the face to the signed players, and the management team that acquired them, if Seattle selects one of our UFA's. Just a big old spotlight on how shallow and overpaid the depth on this team actually is. Guess you saw t...
