Re: Canucks Goaltending Issue
Can you see Lack or a possible stop gap Hiller out-dueling a Price, Crawford, Rask, Henrik Lundqvist or Jonathan Quick? lol no Yeah lets get Ryan Miller, if this team is ever getting back to contending status lol (hey it's possible), we'll need a solid #1, and Miller is only a year older than King ...

Re: 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs
Back in the first round Mark Spector had a column about how Gaborik was not a wise trade for the KIngs.
Now he's getting Conn Smythe mention.
I always think in the playoffs how quick writers are to declare winners/losers after 1 or 2 games.

There's a reason he hasnt coached since then. I doubt him knowing where Kassian played junior is going to turn him into a 30 goal scorer.Betamax wrote:

Re: From Bountiful to Ponoka
And the tards wouldn't deal "Johnny Hockey " and " Moneyhands" for Tyler Seguin. TO be fiar, I might not make that trade. Johnny Gaudreau is an amazing prospect and everytime I think he's going t fail, he goes out and scores. Yeah hes small and he might get crushed, but so far he's avoided it and h...

Re: Who Can Be The Canucks New Head Coach?
I'm still hoping for Winterhawks coach Mike Johnston. Former Vancouver Canucks associate coach, obviously a good teacher looking at Portlands recent success, knows Utica coach Travis Green well as he developed him in Portland. He probably wouldn't be afraid of the younger players and would help int...

Re: Canucks with #6 overall
I don't think Draisatl makes it to 6 personally but draft day usually throws up a curveball or two.
If the big names are off the board, I would prefer someone like Ehlers.

Re: (Poll) Who do you want to be the Canucks next Head Coach
Surprisingly enough I have to say that I wouldn't rule Penis McGuire out. His time as an analyst would certainly be beneficial, after all he has seen and critiqued every coach over the last decade plus, successful or otherwise. He has also analyzed players to death, so he should be good at figuring...

Re: Canucks News and Notes
Quinn built good teams but exept for the unexpected Cinderella run of 94, the didn't do much in the playoffs. As others have pointed out, letting Ronning go (iirc, they didn't even qualify him! How do you not qualify a center that scored 67 point? He scored over 400 points after they cut him loose) ...

Long story short, just got too busy to post regularly. And then 2011 happened and blew out m brain, from which I'm still trying to recover. Yeah, there's a few folks around here who still haven't recovered and probably never will.... Wait, you didn't start randomly cheering for the Miami He...
