Re: 2025-26: OOTS Thread
To me, its not that they let him go, its that they only got a 4th for him. If that was the value, we should have kept him and run with 3 In hindsight for sure - and even at the time many were recommending this. Ian Clark is in charge of our goaltending, and we have to figure that he had a lot of ...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 25-26
With the way management has butchered things the past couple of years, and the complete lack of a plan, I can't see any young talented players signing here long-term when they could bridge their way to UFA and possibly exit stage left if things continue the way they are. This is why I am willing to ...

Re: 2025-26: OOTS Thread
When their “starter” clearly earned the nickname “Tankinen” you have to question management’s judgement. At the time Lankinen’s contract was signed some of us said it was a mistake, as was it a mistake to not keep Silovs and run with three goalies to start the season. It all falls on management and ...

Re: 2026 NHL Draft
those dirty Ruckers are all over the place on draft lists I have seen.. If they are high on them, might be use the late 1st on one of them, and move the 33rd and a third to move up to get the other one. Draft the Ruckers back to back...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 25-26
Today's word, get Buium signed to an extension in the off season. Chatter has begun about the Canucks off season business and one of the priorities is to get the young DMan extended to an 8 year deal. They can do so up until mid Sept when the new CBA rules kick in. After that the max he can get is ...

Re: Players You Hate
With the most forgettable season in a long time winding down, I was thinking about what I hated the most about this year...
And I realized its still Messier.

Re: The Petey Predicament
So how do all these coaches explain his utter dominance before he was taught to ride stationary bikes and shit? He just checked out because his teammates were assholes to him Yup. This played a part in it. but, 2 goals does not mean its over. With luck, he ups his perceived value enough he is ...

Need a couple signs around the arena for the last few games:
"Trevor was right!"
"TWR!"

Re: Ownership and Management (These fuckin' guys™)
I remember feeling hopeful when the baldies took over. That quickly changed when I started hearing all the rumours about how much disdain they had for Bruce. I remember the first off season hearing that there was a split in management about what to do about Bruce. Owners were well aware of the PR ...

Re: The Petey Predicament
Well…..a 2-0 blanking by Brady’s boys from Ottawa. Our 1C got 15:26 TOI and a single SOG. The 2 blocks and 1 hit would sure have been helpful if the NHL counted the score like fantasy leagues. Our 3C got 18:44 TOI and matched the blocks and hits. Our 2C got 16:10 TOI and came up 1 block shy of mat ...
