I don't know if the Canucks are the most hated but I know the fans are frequently voted among the worst in sports.

The hockey media in Canada has always been worse than the media the American teams get. However, I expect it to worsen as the game gets bigger; which it has. The NHL is now more popular than the NBA.

I agree. The NHL has lost hundreds of thousands of dollars with his absence which is why they're taking a good hard look at the concussions and are considering banning fights in the NHL.

Fun Fact:
Atlanta is the only city to lose two NHL franchises; Flames and Thrashers.

Anyone got any pictures of their basement/man cave they would like to share? Particularly one that is covered with Canucks items and memorabilia or some other NHL team.

I hate the Habs the most. Tons of history means the fans have tons of entitlement and arrogance. The Maple leaves aren't much better either.

Going from the Habs to the Flames just wouldn't be cool as a player. Montreal has better fans and is a better city. 3 million dollars though, I'll play anywhere.

Regardless of how irrational Canadian hockey fans are, you're love for hockey is admired in the United States.
