Re: GDT: Canucks @ Kraken - 6pm - Sept 26, Spokane - PRESEASON

Well lookie here, a gdt. 1 - a good deal of hockey history down there, over a hundred years plus or minus. Fans were chanting Sea - Hawks - long before the NFL came to town. ..so your query it makes sense no? I don't know much about the minor/major-junior history of the PNW, but I'm not surprised t...

Re: Canucks News n Notes 21-22

On another note, what the hell is going on with Hamonic? Why re-sign him to a 2 year deal if he isn't going to get vaccinated? The Canucks must have known his feelings on that before he re-signed. Dhaliwal is saying there's something family issue he's dealing with, implying it's his daughter's heal...

Re: Canucks News n Notes 21-22

It five years is good enough for multiple cup champs Crosby, Malkin, Kane, Toews...I dunno, maybe it's good enough for Petey?

Anyone else think Spokane already has a better NHL fan base than Florida and Arizona?

Re: Canucks News n Notes 21-22

This is actually good - remember when Barry/Brisson were leaking that Myers was signing $7mx7 years the day before free agency, and the local media lapped it up? Petey has got to be chomping at the bit to get on the ice with his team,I think a deal is very close to being announced and this leak reek...

Petey has a faaaar higher offensive ceiling than Dahlin.
Obviously. Not quite fair to compare a forward and a d-man though.

Re: Rookie and training Camp 2021

This is what Mike Irvin was doing that day (and many, many other days throughout his career). Well, Olli left nothing in reserve, unlike Mike "Gastro" Irvin. That's what it means to be a pro athlete/champeen/gold star. Too bad Mike Irvin didn't go all-out like our boy Olli. Just B.S.ing, but you re...

Re: Mick's thread full of links CLICK AT YOUR OWN PERIL

Much ado about nothing again. I'd like to recall how well some of this core group fared previously when Green first pulled out the bag skates. It's like a 100M/200M sprinter who trained all their lives for runs under 10 or 20 seconds having to run a 800M or 1500M at a normal pace. You think they're...

Re: Mick's thread full of links CLICK AT YOUR OWN PERIL

Did the Insanity work out and lost 22lbs, gained it back over the years. Still do it and mix in UFC workout with weights. Dang, 22 pounds in 60 days?! That's crazy, well done! I did it at the start again of the pandemic and it was great, probably the only time I've felt exercise was a stress reliev...

Speaking of playing for the other team, Shaun T has a husband - not sleeping with Tanya the machine as we all thought!

Re: Mick's thread full of links CLICK AT YOUR OWN PERIL

You know, I never really focused on the weight. It was more the body fat. So at the end of it, I don't think the weight difference was that significant as the fat turned into muscle. If I recall, it was probably only 10-12 pounds loss. I guess I should have eaten cleaner, but I didn't ;) 10-12 poun...
