Re: 2nd Round Predictions, 2022

Vasilevskiy is up there with the greats - Patrick Roy, Dryden etc. he really is the difference maker for Tampa. Luckily for us we have something similar in Demko. Great contract Benning inked him to Vasilevski makes $9.5 million per year. Demko makes $5 million per year. That $4 mill difference is ...

Re: Max Cap Hits

Do you consider JT Miller one of the Canucks best players? Had 7 less points than Stamkos this season. Tampa Bay McDonagh - 32 years old 4 years left after this on his $6.75 million per year contract Hedman - 31 years old 3 years left $7.875 per year contract Stamkos - 32 years old 1 year left in $...

Re: 2nd Round Predictions, 2022

I hate the Coilers, but I hate the Flames more. Like I said. Worst thing about battle of Alberta in round 2, is one of those fuckers is gonna get to round 3, and we will have to hear about it for a year. Meh. If they make it to round 3 and then exit, that's cool. Means their GM's will make foolish ...

Re: From Bountiful to Ponoka

Agreed. The league needs to change the rules and fix that bullshit. Come out of the crease to play like a skater and you're fair game.

How is King sliding through all these skinnings???
He rode shotgun with on the Sedin Stagecoach. I hear Anson Carter is coming back in an undisclosed role too.

Pearson is a solid defensive winger that consistently wins board battles, is great at puck retrieval, gets the puck out of his own zone methodically and will go to the greasy areas to score a goal or make a play. He scores at a 40 point clip with little PP time. He’s a very popular teammate who, wh...

Re: 2nd Round Predictions, 2022

I hate the Coilers, but I hate the Flames more. We agree again! I find myself on the fence. I really enjoyed seeing the Oilers get caved in in game 1. I found myself disinterested the past couple games where Edmonton was having success. I think that I hat seeing Edmonton win anything because they'v...

What a thug lol.
I loved it though.

I've long thought that if a goalie wants to go and play the puck outside of the crease he should be fair game, especially if he's going to try and shield the puck with his body like a player does.

Also, unlike 30-year-old Rust, Boeser's best years are ahead of him (prime years). If Rust gets $5.1M, Boeser gets $6.5M in my opinion... Quite likely, however for Boeser to stay in Vancouver I think he will need to sign another short term deal to show the team that he isn't going to squander those...

Re: 2022 Draft Class

Mukameduhlin was chosen in 2020. What does he have to do with this draft? It’s an average draft class similar to 2017. Should get a solid prospect at 15. I hope when they deal JT though, that they focus on a 2023 first rounder as part of the package. That draft is loaded. https://i.pinimg.com/origi...

Re: Just Not ready

Provincial Museum is always a must do in Vic. Took my kid there last summer and was appalled at how PC and pro wagon burner the place has become, but still some cool stuff. I have no idea why the current building will be closed for 8 years until the new digs are ready. Doesn't jibe with the benefit...

Re: The Great Jim Benning Debate! (And personal insult thread)

Gillis’s biggest failure was not going all in from 2009- 2013. He should have hemorrhaged every pick and prospect in the system. The team was close. Instead he chose to fart around with third and fourth line scrubs. Imagine bringing in a Jeff Carter or an impact defender. That’s when you go for it,...

Sometimes I get the spidey sense that McDavid is so far advanced than everyone else boredom becomes his enemy. It’s like he should be playing in the Future NHL like 30 years from now when hockey humans at that far off time where no man has been before have eventually evolved to his level he is at n...

Re: The Canucks 2022 Offseason.

I’m not sure I’d say Miller is a fantastic skater but he’s certainly quicker than Tavares and Benn. I wonder if the Flyers may be a suitor for JT. Or Columbus. Both teams have some interesting assets. The Flyers have made it known they are about to do a full tear it down rebuild. Miller isn’t in th...
