Re: Injury Update 2018-19

Now Joulevi is out the rest of the season, great, don't want to harp on the pick too much but man have we been screwed by it. I am not blaming the player here or management, you can never predict injuries, but it seems like if we didn't have bad luck with him we would have no luck at all.

Re: From Bountiful to Ponoka

Tkachuk up to 37 points in the season Yes, we should have taken him over Joulevi, I agree. However, apparently his production has dropped, slightly, since he was taken off the first line. Still think Monahan and Gaudreau are 1st liners. He is a 2nd liner, who will step up in the playoffs, IMO. He n...

Edmonton is sitting in a playoff spot.

The Canucks are at least 8 points out when you factor in points pctg
Not really relevant in my opinion because Edmonton got McDavid through lucky bounces of the balls. We have not been so fortunate, until 4 teams screwed the pooch in last year's draft.

Re: Seattle Expansion/Canucks players

I know eh! It's sure is a pleasure watching the beginnings. Kind of like Sedins' early days. Glimpses of what's to come (yeah, it's gonna get even better!). So our Core: Horvat, Boeser, Pettersson, Shotgun, Quinn (yeah, he's already pencilled in). Who's next to join? Hutton, Demko, 2019 1st, Dahlen...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Canucks untouchables are: Horvat, Pettersson, Boeser and Hughes. Everyone else can be had for a price. Only 1 of Demko and DiPietro should be available.

Re: Seattle Expansion/Canucks players

Ryan Beech on 650am this morning; Quinn Hughes can play up to 11 games this year without threat of expansion draft. Seemed very sure! So for crying out loud: Get this kid signed this year !! If that’s true then he’ll ya I’m all in. Rest assured Benning will have an answer in time to make a decision...

Wonder if the Blue Jackets will follow the Blues example and express their feelings at next practice?

Re: Injury Update 2018-19

1 big reason why I would like to see the Canucks trade Tanev is because of his injury history. As much as I like him, I think he could still bring back a good hull of players/prospects/picks. The longer we hold onto him the more we are killing his trade value IMO. When our defence is in such dire s...

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

Still, there are are a lot of 6-8 D men in the top 6. The top 3 when healthy are 4-6 guys on a strong D. ^This. Its why suck as much as we do...more or less. I do however think with all 3 of Horvat, Sutter and Beagle dressed and healthy we win half of the past dozen losses in this recent run. Agree...
