Re: Bo Horvat Trade

I think everyone can agree that we could not keep both Bo and JT, without making significant cap room. We can debate whether we kept the right one. I imagine the argument will go either way with no clear winner yet, give it a few years. The return for Miller at the TDD last year would not have been ...

Rutherford brought this on himself. From day one he has shot his mouth off creating so much controversy. He shows up here talking aboutpiss poor culture, news to most of us, poor coaching and the team needing surgery. That's before he even gets started. Then he shoots his mouth off about Bruce causi...

Re: Bo Horvat Trade

Lou had no choice but to give in to the demands. he must have had some idea before he traded for him what the ball park was. Rutherford was right, Bo wanted to get paid for what he is doing this year not over the course of his career. I love Bo, but that contract is too much, even if we didn't have ...

He is used to being the all important decision making guy. He has hired Allvin for that and I think he finds it harder than he imagined. AS President what is there for him to do now that the team is in place especially if you have had to take the mic away from him. I imagine he is feeling sidelined,...

Re: Canucks Young Guns

I think he always been on the trade block since Allvin took over. Unfortunately his injury history has him at an all time low. But as part of a package, say Boeser or Garland, he might help generate a better return.

Re: Canucks News n Notes 22-23

So Canucks have begun negotiations with Bear on a new contract. Expect something so I’d say or he will be a possible trade closer to TDD.

Re: Past Canuck Players

Todd Diamond, the agent for Nikita Tryamkin, expects “tremendous demand” for his client this offseason as Tryamkin gets set to make his NHL return. Yeah... ok.... I'm sure there's a few teams that will offer a PTO, maybe even a lowball contract - but the Russian Stay-Puft Marshmallow man isn't buil...

He is eligible to buy under the new laws. Maybe his family isn’t though. I’m sure they will sort it. The law is mainly there to prevent foreign money, that we can’t track, and foreign buyers who pay little to no tax, all while driving the prices up. Here is Vancouver they say we have a rental shorta...

Re: Trade Rumours & Armchair Pipe Dreams 22-23 Sponsored by SKYO

Kuzmenko is apparently bummed that he can't buy a house. According to his agent Milstein. A newly rich hockey player like him probably can't understand how the average joe feels not being able to buy a house in Vancouver either. Well, he can't buy one on his current contract, but next year he can! ...
