Re: From Bountiful to Ponoka

that's some good stuff Blobby! Hi quality kool aid they are serving over there at Cal Puke on Backlund. Good lord comparing him to Kesler, he'll be lucky to be Harold Druken!

Re: From Bountiful to Ponoka

Kipper will get the Sundin treatment now from the Calgary faithful. What I found most surprising was when some of the commentators said they expected he might actually retire after this season since he will only earn 1.5 next year if he plays. Although I think he comes back if for no other reason t...

Re: From Bountiful to Ponoka

It's just unravelling fast and furious now for the inbreds. All the agony about Kipper tearing their hearts out and not reporting to another team if traded. The guy the loved for years now turning his back on them and seeing their tormented souls agonize is almost too good. In a week I expect a big ...

Re: From Bountiful to Ponoka

This latest thread over at the inbred farm is just classic- even they are realizing the team has come full circle in 12 years and destined for nothing.

Re: From Bountiful to Ponoka

Oh boy- here we go. Being reported that Avs have only said they will offer match and not filed paperwork yet. Fan 590 in TO saying this. So Avs can tank all their games for a week, let Feaster twist in the wind and then Calgary is forced to recall him and BOOM! Claim him on waivers, get 2.5 mill plu...

Re: From Bountiful to Ponoka

The place is like a drug for me and I always seem to get high: Thought i'd pass along some highlights from a speaking engagement with Ken King (this is all paraphrased so I hope it's reflects what he said well): On Iginla: Paraphrased "We didn't invest 80 Million dollars in Iginla to send him off to...

Re: Home Construction Discussion

So close to being done I can taste it. There was a major screw up with our millwork order so that added a huge delay to everything. It's dragged on a bit the last two months due to a bunch of things with my contractor trying to beat the weather on his other jobs but there are two doors left to hang ...

Re: My Truck...

Last year of a model run, you may take a hit when it comes to resale/trade value, but if it is your work truck, you probably want to depreciate the hell out of it and not have that value back on your books so it doesn't matter.
