Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Sounds like Chaput(RFA) and Wiercioch(UFA) won't be offered a contract and will both walk come July 1

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

Ya that would be a pretty damn solid looking all svenskan line. Curious if anyone knows in detail what we have in Dahlen? Is he trending towards making the team next year? Did he have a strong year? Dalhen is a skilled winger/centre who's not afraid of going to the tough areas. He played a season w...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

I too think this is a good deal for Calgary. EL was a top 5 pick and can play both centre and wing. Hamilton was dealt outta Boston for a reason, and now he's been dumped by Calgary. Hanifin > Hamilton.

But it's good to hear the Cow fans are shittin.

Weisbrod is tight with Hughes’ dad. They go back a long way.

Re: The 2018 NHL Entry Draft

So we take the best skater in the draft with the first pick, what does Jim have up his sleeve for tomorrow?

Be nice to deal some dead weight and pick up some more picks

Dan is already indacouch.

We'll let it slide UDL, it is draft day after all.

Cal Foote Captained the Kelowna Rockets and played alongside Kole Lind, so he would have had plenty of looks.

The Leafs pick 25th this year, and of course have RHD Timothy Liljegren.

Ottawa may like to pick 7th if they're looking to move Karlsson out of the East. 8-)

Re: Canucks News and Notes 2017-2018

Sounds like Boucher camp was demanding a one-way. Benning doesn't budge.

The kid has absolutely no bargaining power, so Benning says you wanna get paid? Earn a spot in Vancouver

*Of note: RB's last contract was a one-year, one-way deal.

I wouldn't confuse Grabner as a "shut down" player.

Gagner was brought in for his PP ability and veteran presence.

MDZ will be of more value near the TDL.

I don't see Benning giving up on either of them at this point in time.

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 17-18 Sponsored by SKYO

Yes to Jenner, and for the right price, Ryan Murphy. Loui sticks around at least another year. Loui will bring Elias along, and Elias could easily breath life into Loui's game. Two of Hutton, Granlund, Gaunce, Pouliot need to go to make room for the 4-5 rookies looking to make the jump. How about Gr...
