Re: Canucks camp & preseason 2018/2019

Our bottom 6 this year is light years better than that mess was, and a lot better than it was the past 2 years as well.** **Disclaimer. If Gaunce is in our bottom 6 this year, then I retract that statement. Gaunce is no worse a player than Granlund or Goldobin for that matter Blob, you are gonna ha...

Re: Canucks camp & preseason 2018/2019

ishes them when they fail, but good Pickers have great timing and are not defensively inept. Now Pavel was a fine Cherry Picker and could be on my team any day. The sooner Goldobin ends up in the KHL and Gagner gets moved, the sooner Dahlen gets his rightful spot on the team. Goldobin might get som...

Re: Canucks camp & preseason 2018/2019

I think they learned their lesson with Virtanen & McCann. Earn your icetime,it's been repeated by all the players,so you know that's how Greene has told them its gonna be. The biggest thing learned from 2015/16 with McCann and JV is that you need to have better players than Cracknell, Etem, Prust, ...

Re: Canucks camp & preseason 2018/2019

And I’d honestly like Goldobin, Virtanen, Leipsic, Hutton, Granlund, Baertshi and Stetcher to have another shot, for some a legitimate shot, for others perhaps a last shot. Play the heck out of those seven and see if they can take the next step. I agree 100% Wids. We have a lot invested in each one...

Re: Canucks camp & preseason 2018/2019

Too bad. He's got some pop. Guys like Gagne, Gaunce, Granlund, etc., can't find their lil triggers. Here is a rhetorical question. Would you dump our current players who start with the letter "G" for our prospect who start with the letter "G". That's Gagner, Gaunce, Gudbranson and Granlund for Gold...

Eriksson - Sutter - Pettersson Fuuuuuck no. Dahlen bro...those 2 are like peas and car-rots. Keep flaky Looee at least 2 lines away from the golden goose please and thank you. Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

http://www.hockeyfights.com/players/5239/videos Don't worry. Much like Dorsett, Rousell seems like a gamer to drop the gloves and defend a teammate. He seems to fair quite well in most of his scraps as well. My biggest concern is just like Dorsett, he's a bit on the small side. Just hope he doesn't...

Re: When will the Canucks Next make the playoffs

If the teams forwards 3 through 9 were better this team wouldn’t be the shitshow it is. Gaunce is fine as a 12/13 forward. There are finally some KIDS to call up. The bottom of the roster up front isn’t the problem. Gaunce is not fine as a 12/13 forward. Gaunce's stick is where "offense goes to die...

Re: Captain my Captian

If Edler would sign for 3 years, money isn't much of an issue. The contract will be over when Juolevi's ELC ends, and a year before Hughes' ELC ends. Money, term, and NTC/NMC are big issues. While we do have cap room for a few years, we cannot upset our cost structure without pissing off other play...

The point was Looch will take up a protection spot, Loui not.
If you watch Loochi play, he seems to have taken the "No Movement" part of his NMC pretty seriously. He seems more and more like a slug every year. Hell, he will be slower than Dana Myrzyn before that contract runs out :D :D :D

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

I'd also look for any suitor to take on Eriksson. That guy has some ability and would compliment a good team. The Canucks are not good. Also, they don't seem to utilize Loui in the best way (net front presence on the PP like on Bos and Dal). Anyway, maybe Loui gets to be net front on PP2 this year....

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Those three wins were pretty weak scraps. He ain’t exactly Iginla or Shanahan with the mitts off. Perhaps, but I was responding to Danny saying he doesn't fight/is a lousy fighter. And again: Job One is climbing inside people's heads and leaving steaming piles... not fighting. I agree that he gets ...
