Canucks for Kids Telethon: Challenging all bloggers!

Canucks For Kids Telethon - Image: http://www.canuckplace.orgThe annual Canucks For Kids telethon is in full swing today and we’re throwing down a challenge to all bloggers to come on board and help out. During tonight’s game, CanucksCorner.com will dontate 10 cents for each new follower we get on Twitter to a maximum of $100.00 (1000 new followers). Just before the drop of the puck we”ll tweet our follower count and the meter will start. It will end when the game does.

We’re also challenging all other Canucks blogs, hockey blogs and social media types to meet or beat our pledge.

The Vancouver Canucks have raised millions of dollars for sick children in BC since this telethon began. When a child in British Columbia is diagnosed with a progressive, life-threatening illness, Canuck Place can provide a pediatric palliative care service for both the child and the entire family.

Canuck Place provides 400 children and families with needed specialized care not available elsewhere, providing a much needed break from day-to-day responsibilities of caring for a child with a life-threatening illness.

It’s a great cause, so if you can help, please do so, and RT this post to make sure we hit our maximum donation!
